Safe and sustainable decommissioning
What does decommissioning entail? For Delsan-AIM, they define decommissioning as the closure of all or part of an industrial facility followed by the removal of process equipment, building envelopes and all site infrastructures. Often in these closures, specialised clean ups are required to remove chemical substances or hazardous materials from the environment to render the industrial site both safe and aesthetically acceptable.
