Twitter value at $1 billion after funding

The social media network, Twitter, is in the process of raising $50  million to increase its value to $1 billion. The company is rainsing money from multiple unnamed sources. A similar fundraising endeavour in Februaru led by Benchmark Capital had valued Twitter at $250 million. Twitter want to demonstrate its viability as a company and that it will be successful on the private or public sales market.
